This evening Converse will be screening The Filth and The Fury, a rockumentary focusing on the careers of punk pioneers, the Sex Pistols. Directed by Julien Temple and released in 2000, the film contextualises the band’s presence within the social and political turmoil during the era of their conception, rise and demise.

Further to the film Converse has also employed tailoring king, Sir Tom Baker, in a collaborative sneaker project to siphon punk and Baker’s personalities into key Converse styles (check those Brothel Creeper wedge soles, Malcolm McLaren approved platforms).

Sir Tom Baker will be present on the evening,  joined by punk royalty Viv Albertine (The Slits) and London trio Skinny Girl Diet for a Q&A.
