He’s back!
Kim Jones has announced the launch of KIM JONES, his own fashion label, with the first collection arriving for FW27.
The launch comes two years after Jones stepped down as artistic director of Fendi womenswear and couture, following a two-year tenure. He previously spent seven years as artistic director of Dior Men and seven years as men’s artistic director at Louis Vuitton.
While this is a new label, Jones first announced himself to the fashion world under his own name, showing on the London Fashion Week menswear schedule as part of the MAN platform. This new brand will bring together Jones’s interests in fashion, art, and design, with pieces made predominantly in Japan and leather goods produced in Italy. The announcement states that pieces will sell “at a considered price point” and will be “unrestricted by traditional categories.”
“After many years working with incredible houses and collaborators, it feels like the right moment to do something under my own name again,” says Jones. “This brings together the things I’ve always been interested in – fashion, art and design – and gives me the space to work with people I admire and explore new ideas. I’m excited about what comes next.”
The collection will launch from mid-2027 exclusively at www.kimjones.com,
