In major cultural crossover news, Dior and A24 have announced a two-year partnership that will see the fashion house serve as premier partner of New York’s Cherry Lane Theater, New York’s oldest Off-Broadway Theatre. The announcement came via a very meta Dior short film directed by Aidan Zamiri and starring Sabrina Carpenter, Josh O’Connor, Drew Starkey, Camille Cottin and Sophie Wilde, all playing versions of Jonathan Anderson – each with their own checked shirt, jeans and awkward walk variation.

The West Village venue – which was recently renovated and reopened by A24 – will launch the new partnership with an event marking the first anniversary of its A24 reopening, featuring a one-off performance by Justin Vivian Bond, produced and directed by Zack Winokur, inspired by poet and playwright Edna St. Vincent Millay, one of the theatre’s founders. Jonathan Anderson designed the costumes for the performance, while Bond will wear an archival piece by Paul Poiret, whose work directly inspired Anderson’s Dior Winter 2026 collection.

Further to this, Dior and A24 will collaborate on programming designed “to connect artists with audiences.” The press release continues, “With a shared commitment to the next generation of artists, the partnership will also support students, investing in opportunities for young people to engage with both the creative and practical sides of film and theatre.”
