Having debuted at Etro’s FW26 runway show in Milan, the brand’s full collaboration with Birkenstock is now revealed. Here, we exclusively share behind-the-scenes Savoir-Faire imagery documenting the craftsmanship behind the collection.

Blending the German footwear label’s functional design with Etro’s maximalist Italian flair, the collaboration reworks two Birkenstock signatures: the Boston clog and Gizeh sandal. The Boston, which turned 50 this year, is reimagined with Etro’s signature paisley, while the Gizeh is rendered in premium suede and nappa leather. Both styles are updated with Etro-isms, including embroidery, long fringe, Western-inspired buckles and Pegasus-branded rivets.

This first collection drops on September 10th, with further chapters of the partnership promised across the next few months.
