Nicolas Di Felice steps down at Courrèges
Fashion | 24 March 2026

Nicolas Di Felice has stepped down from his role as Artistic Director of Courrèges to “focus on personal projects.”

In a statement, Di Felice thanked the group’s leadership, including François Pinault and François-Henri Pinault, as well as the wider team. “I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the group… and to all the teams and my friends, whose talent and dedication made this human and creative journey so meaningful,” he said.

Di Felice joined Courrèges in 2020. During his tenure, he was credited with repositioning the house within the contemporary fashion landscape, updating its archive codes with a contemporary approach that blended subtle theatrics with design. We saw temperatures rise and confetti fall at the SS26 show, while FW24 took place on a runway that throbbed and panted.

In an accompanying press release, the brand described his period at the house as a “true renaissance,” and said: “Courrèges is grateful for his unique contribution and extends its best wishes for his future projects.”
