Launched in 2019, Prada’s Re-Nylon reframes one of the house’s most recognisable signatures through an innovative, sustainability-led lens. First introduced by Miuccia Prada in the late 70s, nylon has long been embedded in the brand’s DNA, today, it is re-spun from ocean plastics and textile waste and recast as a material for a circular future.

For 2026, Prada expands the narrative with a new Re-Nylon campaign starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Letitia Wright. Moving beyond imagery, the pair front a pair of documentary films created with National Geographic CreativeWorks, tracing the real-world impact of Prada’s SEA BEYOND initiative – an ongoing project dedicated to ocean preservation through education. Shot across Oahu, Hawaii, and Japan’s Izu Peninsula and Kamakura, the landscapes become a vital part of the narrative, tracing the cause and effect of human action.
