brand ambassador
Loewe has named US actor Julia Garner as its first global brand ambassador under the creative direction of Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, signalling a new chapter for the Spanish house.
Garner’s career has been defined by transformative, memorable performances, from her Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning turn in Ozark to her lead in Inventing Anna. More recently, she has appeared in Weapons and in The Fantastic Four: First Steps, while she will next star opposite Charlize Theron in Tyrant, and has been confirmed to portray Madonna in a hotly-anticipated biopic about the iconic musician.

“It feels deeply personal to become the first global ambassador personally chosen by Jack and Lazaro,” says Garner. “There’s something very moving about being seen in that way – about knowing they felt a connection strong enough to invite me into this new chapter of the House… I’ve always admired their creative vision – it’s committed, almost absolute, and certain, similar to the way an actor commits entirely to a role.” Garner continues: “The House celebrates individuality and allows space for exploration. I feel that same permission in my own career – to take risks, to choose complexity, to grow.”
Since being named creative directors at Loewe in Spring 2025, the designer duo have established their vision for the brand, informed by vibrant colour, artistic references, abstract structure, and the house’s inherent spirit of craft – a shared passion between them and Garner. “A sense of connection led us to Julia. There was an immediate bond,” say the designers. “We admire those who dare to explore: Julia certainly has that ceaseless curiosity, and we are proud to see her bring this to Loewe.”
