Portrait Series
Having spent a career behind the camera, the legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz is front and centre in Givenchy’s SS26 campaign. Sporting a cropped wool jumper, Leibovitz appears alongside Kaia Gerber, the artist Isabelle Albuquerque, and models Selena Forrest and Liu Wen.
The campaign is the third in creative director Sarah Burton’s Portrait Series, which takes a more laid-back approach to the traditional fashion campaign. The models are caught in casual moments, appearing mid-laugh or in a knowingly staged pose. Burton’s women are refreshingly real, with Collier Schorr’s camera capturing them with a candid wit.

Burton’s SS26 collection for Givenchy was about deconstructing feminine archetypes. In the show notes, Burton wrote about “peeling back the structure of tailoring to reveal skin and a sense of lightness and ease.” Standout pieces from the collection included slashed trench coats, double-zipped leather bombers, fringed heels, and blazers ripped apart and worn as dresses.
