The first wave of friends and ambassadors for Pierpaolo Piccioli’s Balenciaga has been revealed. Shot by David Sims, the campaign introduces a new cohort of ambassadors, including acting icons Harris Dickinson and Winona Ryder, alongside Roh Yoonseo. Joining as friends of the house are actors Danielle Deadwyler and Havana Rose Liu, musician Labrinth, and Heated Rivalry star Hudson Williams. They are accompanied by models Mona Tougaard, Loli Bahia, Ned Sims, and Sen Samysheva.

Wearing pieces from both the Summer 26 and Fall 26 collections, the new family members were chosen not for the characters they play, but as the individuals they are. Piccioli explains, “I chose individuals, not characters. Human beings with distinct stories, faces marked by experience, vulnerability, and nuance. I was not looking for constructed personas, but for real presence.”

The campaign imagery highlights the subjects’ personalities as much as the pieces they wear. It signals a bold new direction for Balenciaga, marking the beginning of a new era for the house.
