The campaign for Celine’s Été 26 collection is here. Shot by Zoe Ghertner, the campaign has a distinct focus on the accessories of Michael Rider’s Été 26, which debuted back in October. Huge sunglasses are front and centre, along with a number of handbags from the collection, and piles of branded hardware collected like trinkets. Elsewhere, Rider’s easeful tailoring is worn alongside sculptural lines, as a spirit of lightness translates across oversized rugby shirts constructed from silk, billowing scarves, and soft dresses.
Rider’s womenswear offering for Été 26 was a continuation of his menswear collection from the season previous. “The women and men kept walking and the seasons changed,” he wrote in the show notes at the time. “We were thinking about good times, about lightness, and about summer heat. The tension between discretion and showing skin.”
