Louis Vuitton continues its year-long celebration of the Monogram with a new campaign starring Zendaya and Catherine Deneuve. Shot by Glen Luchford, the images pair iconic Monogram bags from across the decades with ambassadors and friends of the house. Zendaya carries the Speedy, first introduced in the 1930s and now one of Louis Vuitton’s most enduring icons. Originally designed as a versatile piece of soft luggage, the Speedy was adorned with the Monogram in 1959 and has since become a constantly evolving canvas within the LV universe.

While Catherine Deneuve spotlights the Alma, a bag inspired by the house’s Art Deco-inspired Squire lineage, reflecting the same timeless elegance long associated with Deneuve herself.

Two more classics, the Noé and the Neverfull, round out the campaign, modelled by house ambassadors Liu Yifei and Hoyeon. In an accompanying campaign film directed by Roman Coppola, Zendaya delivers a tender monologue to someone off-screen before the camera pulls back to reveal she is speaking about her Speedy.
