Willy Chavarria has unveiled a new line of clothing that will offer premium pieces for affordable prices. Dubbed Big Willy, the line was introduced as part of Chavarria’s FW26 show in Paris recently. The models, which included cult figures Lil Mr. E, Ricky Alvarez, and Chino Salazar, wore the pieces whilst riding across the runway on low rider bikes.

The inaugural Big Willy pieces have a distinct workwear vibe. Chinos and button-up shirts come in black or khaki, paired with bomber and Sutton coach jackets. Meanwhile, details such as removable sale labels and security tags nod to themes of accessibility and class. The ethos of the new line is to extend the world of Willy Chavarria to more people, without diluting the value of the brand.

“Big Willy is not an offshoot of the brand. It is an extension and the heart of what I do,” Chavarria says of the new line. “I believe good design should not be reserved for a few. Big Willy is my commitment to making the Willy Chavarria design language available at a more democratic price point, without sacrificing quality, integrity, or soul.”
