Final Farewell

It’s a bittersweet moment. The campaign for the final collection designed by Giorgio Armani takes us inside the legendary designer’s house. Shot by Oliver Hadlee Pearch, the campaign is fronted by Vittoria Ceretti and Clément Chabernaud wearing pieces from the SS26 collection. The designer’s final offering evoked the “impulse and shifting sensations that accompany a return to the city after a journey.” Delivering a series of relaxed silhouettes, easy-going waistcoats were paired with flowing suit trousers, delicately pleated skirts worked with casual shirting, and oversized, pyjama-style suiting stood at the centre of the collection.
Longtime friends of the house, Ceretti and Chabernaud, pose inside Armani’s Italian home and gardens, in front of walls featuring a selection of artworks by the likes of pioneering figures Andy Warhol, Francesco Clemente and Antonio Lopez. Incumbent creative director and Armani’s longtime partner, Leo Dell’Orco, still lives in the apartment, which is located within the brand’s headquarters on Via Borgonuovo in central Milan.
