Just as we’re settling back into work after a well-deserved Christmas break, the Men’s FW26 schedule has arrived like a freight train through the living room. Kicking off, as ever, with Pitti Uomo in Florence on January 13, we then hop on the picturesque train down to Milan for four days, before heading back up to Paris for the usual non-stop marathon. Overall, the season has a distinctly business-as-usual feel compared to recent iterations, which were dominated by reshuffles and high-profile debuts. For now, the schedule is settling into a steady rhythm. Let’s not jinx it!
Soshiotsuki at Pitti Uomo
The most recent winner of the LVMH Prize, Soshi Otsuki brings his namesake brand Soshiotsuki to Florence for Pitti Uomo’s 109th edition. Founded in 2015, the brand takes major inspiration from Japanese style of the 1980s. A mix of Armani-style boxy suiting and the uniforms of Japan’s hard-working “salarymen”, Soshiotsuki claimed the LVMH last year for his “impeccable tailoring and refined materials.”
Soshiotsuki will show on Jan 15th as part of Pitti Uomo, Florence

A Milan homecoming
It’s been over two decades since Ralph Lauren presented a runway collection in Milan. For FW26, the American master returns to the Milan schedule where he will be joined by the usual suspects — Prada, Zegna, Tod’s and Dsquared2. Giorgio Armani will present their first menswear collection since the passing of their founder on the 19th, which is sure to be an unmissable tribute show. Ferragamo are also returning to the menswear schedule on the 18th, showing for the first time since 2019.

Paris is Paris
The Paris schedule is a far more subdued affair than last September’s designer debut blockbuster. Still, plenty of familiar faces will return, including Rick Owens, Walter Van Beirendonck, Dries Van Noten, Issey Miyake, Junya Watanabe and Louis Vuitton. Jonathan Anderson will unveil his much-anticipated second Dior Men’s collection on the 21st, before the week concludes with Jacquemus on the 25th.
There are a few new addition this season, including the hyped Italian label Magliano, which will make its Paris schedule debut on the 24th, after spending the past few seasons showing in Milan. Charles Jeffrey Loverboy will also be decamping to Paris for a collection presentation on the 24th. At Hermès on the 24th, Véronique Nichanian will be presenting her final collection after 37 years as the house’s menswear designer. From next season, Hermès’ menswear collections will be designed by British designer Grace Wales Bonner.
