The track, Blurry Moon, is a lush, dream-like piece that evokes the haunting sound of Angelo Badalamenti and Julee Cruise’s iconic collaborations. To celebrate her comeback, Saint Laurent’s Anthony Vaccarello steps behind the camera for the first time, making his directorial debut with the song’s music video.

Leaning into the Badalamenti vibes, Vaccarello’s music video takes direct inspiration from David Lynch and his eternal muse — LA’s Mulholland Drive. In the video, we see Gainsbourg cruising along Mulholland in a vintage Chevrolet Impala, looking effortlessly cool in full Saint Laurent. As the song swells, she becomes lost in her thoughts, letting go of the wheel and manoeuvring into the back seat. The car drives on. Is this reality, or a hazy dream? At the end, the car and Gainsbourg drive off as the camera lifts up, into the orange LA sky.
