Bottega Veneta has launched a new campaign, Craft is Our Language, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the house’s iconic leather weave, the Intrecciato. Photographed by Jack Davison and styled by Robbie Spencer, the campaign assembles a veritable who’s who of cultural figures, including Tyler, The Creator, Jack Antonoff, Dario Argento, Edward Buchanan, Barbara Chase-Riboud, Neneh Cherry, Lauren Hutton, Vicky Krieps, Julianne Moore, and Zadie Smith.

Perhaps most famously flaunted by Lauren Hutton in American Gigolo, the Intrecciato clutch is one of the most recognisable pieces to feature the signature weave. Since its inception, the pattern has been used to elevate an array of designs from bags and jackets to gloves, belts, and ties.
The campaign is just the beginning of Bottega Veneta’s anniversary celebrations. A commemorative book will be released in September, followed by a second instalment of images and films featuring an expanded cast of talents.
