Jonathan Anderson has been appointed creative director at Dior Men
Fashion | 17 April 2025

Finally, it’s been confirmed that Jonathan Anderson has been appointed creative director at Dior Men, succeeding Kim Jones who left the maison earlier this year. Announced by Bernard Arnault at the LVMH annual shareholders meeting, Anderson will present his debut collection for Dior during Paris Fashion Week Men’s this June as part of the Spring 2026 season.

Having joined Loewe in 2013 after LVMH acquired a minority stake in JW Anderson in 2013, during his eleven year tenure Anderson celebrated the brand’s artisanal heritage through his signature contemporary, artistic spirit. At Loewe, Anderson’s collections consistently drew inspiration from the art world, paying tribute to the likes of Josef and Anni Albers and Peter Hujar, while decorating show venues with art pieces including Anthea Hamilton’s squashes. This celebration of artisanal craft extended to the launch of the Loewe Foundation Craft Prize in 2016. Away from the runway, Anderson also took Loewe to the big screen, collaborating with Luca Guadagnino on the costume design for Challengers and Queer.

Now, Anderson takes up a new challenge, and we’re all extremely excited to see what he does.
