Launched this week – timing with Valentine’s Day – an exclusive collection of love-themed items is currently available at Dover Street Market Paris. Called LOVE HURTS, the items range from a limited-edition Aaron Esh cap (featuring embroidered texts by John Donne, PJ Harvey, and an anonymous Reddit user), to a one-of-a-kind sculpted heart-shaped bodysuit by Duran Lantink, and a classic Vaquera trompe l’oeil lingerie top, customised with red lipstick kisses. Brilliantly, there’s also a JW Anderson Pigeon Clutch customised with a BDSM harness.

The collection is also being released alongside a re-edition of Love Hurts, originally launched in 2005 by Comme des Garçons Parfums. The original release featured only the CDG 2 fragrance, housed in a heart-shaped bottle designed to resemble a Brillo pad — a playful and literal interpretation of the “Love Hurts” title. For this re-edition, however, six classic CDG fragrances will be packaged in the Brillo-inspired bottle: Amazingreen, Blackpepper, Wonderwood, Comme des Garçons Eau de Parfum, CDG 2, and CDG 2 Man.
