Timed for Halloween, Saint Laurent have made the ultimate soundtrack: an exclusive new interpretation of HERO 32 cover star John Carpenter’s iconic electronic soundtracks for Halloween and Assault on Precinct 13. Curated by Anthony Vaccarello and for sale in Saint Laurent’s Babyloné store in Paris and Rive Droite store in LA, these new iterations of Carpenter’s chilling soundscapes were made using all-analogue synthesizers and drum machines – staying true to Carpenter’s synonymous style. Titled The Bloody Mix, records are limited to an edition of 500 and are cast in a blood red hue.

Alongside the Mix, both the Paris and LA stores will also stock a selection of rare and signed Halloween-themed memorabilia and collectables. This includes a Halloween (1987) LP signed by John Carpenter, the original A Nightmare on Elm Street 3 vinyl by Angelo Badalamenti, a copy of The Occult, Witchcraft & Magic: An Illustrated History by Christopher Dell and VHS tapes of Bride of Frankenstein, Rosemary’s Baby and Vampire Sacrifice, amongst so much more to get your teeth stuck into…
