Stefano Gallici’s runways for Ann Demeulemeester have, so far, been incredibly memorable affairs. From his debut runway featuring an eternal runway in a location far on the outskirts of Paris, to his most recent show that saw models criss-cross and weave through each other to a live experimental soundtrack.

That very soundtrack is now having a second life as a limited edition vinyl release. Neuf Voix – aka Elvio Seta – the avant-garde artist behind the score to Gallici’s FW24 show, is known for using vintage synths and having a theoretical approach to music. At the show, he sat in front of an incredible vintage synth set-up, its numerous wires and plugs looking closer to something you’d see in a plane’s cockpit. His track, X-DYSTOPIAN, which he composed for the show, is replicated in two versions for either side of the new limited edition vinyl, along with an exclusive twenty-page booklet and two silver paper accompanying posters.

“Working on a sound that could shape the work of six months was a hard challenge,” Gallici tells us. He continues, “The aim was to bring an analogue sound back to the house that could become a live performance act. I felt grateful for the chance to collaborate with Elvio Seta during the making of the collection. The way Elvio translated my vision into music was a one-of-a-kind experience. I’m amazed by his talent, musical knowledge, the intellectual and picky approach and the way he humbly shows it.

The record features a side A with the complete soundtrack, and a side B with just the base layer of the composition; it was crucial to show his process of work and a detailed guide of his instruments inside the booklet present inside the vinyl gatefold. I’m beyond thankful for this journey. I am blinded by the grace of the sound, built on the wings of our passion. The reason why everything started.”
