Walk with me

A David Lynch festival is coming to London

In huge David Lynch news, the London Irish Centre in Camden is hosting a weekend festival dedicated to the American auteur this September. A Gathering of the Angels comes from the same people who organised the hugely successful Twin Peaks UK Festival that ran from 2010 to 2019 and will feature screenings, panels, special guests and even a chance to cosplay as your favourite Lynch characters.

Dana Ashbrook aka Bobby Briggs himself will be in attendance, as well as many other actors and crew members such as editors, producers, casting directors, cinematographers and make-up artists who have all worked with Lynch over the years on projects such as Blue Velvet, Mulholland Drive and Twin Peaks.

On top of meeting and mingling with fellow Lynch fans, there will also be plenty of events taking place such as a Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me Puzzle Experience, which is billed as a sort of surreal escape room, and a screening of Lynch-inspired short films that attendees can submit. If you want something a bit more extreme, there will be a specialist tattoo artist in attendance from LA offering Lynchian tattoos for the megafans amongst us.

A Gathering of the Angels will take place at the London Irish Centre in Camden on the 14th and 15th of September. Weekend and days tickets are available here.
