If you can remember all the way back to January, Kim JonesFW24 show for Dior was a balletic and bombastic tribute to the fiery life of trailblazing Russian dancer Rudolf Nureyev. Jones had a personal connection to Nureyev through his uncle, Colin Jones, who had photographed the dancer in 1966 for Time Life magazine. The show was a typically large-scale production, ending with the models on a rotating platform that also raised and lowered while Dance 0f the Knights from Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet boomed through the show space.

Now, the ballet theme continues into the collection’s campaign, captured by Alasdair McLellan. Shot in a pared-down setting reminiscent of a dance studio, the models stand at the barre wearing ballet-inspired shoes, as well as other standouts from the FW24 collection. Tailoring is reinvented with new volumes, pleats, and cuts, whilst the legendary Bar Jacket is fashioned into a masculine interpretation and paired with the Oblique suit. Elsewhere, the Saddle Twin and the Camera Bag are the stars of the leather goods.
