On the road
Zara’s latest collab sees them team up with Spanish jewellery start-up brand TwoJeys, creating a collection that caters to a free-spirited, expressive personality. “TwoJeys is a state of mind,” says Biel Juste Calduch, one half of founding TwoJeys duo alongside Joan Margarit, “Joan and I first imagined it during a fever-dream journey down Route 66 in California. Down the road we could never find any jewellery that captured the essence of our life on the highway, so we decided then and there to make it for ourselves.”

Guided by this story of highway liberation, the Zara collection is centred by TwoJey’s signature jewellery alongside contemporary twists on Americana apparel silhouettes: long-sleeve moto tops, denim decorated with photo-etched prairie imagery, metal cowboy belt buckles, trucker caps, workwear jackets, distressed hoodies and western details. Through expressive distress and fabric manipulation, materials appear well-worn, depicting the heat-whipped way of life on the road.
Expanding the collection story is a campaign shot by renowned photographer Glen Luchford and featuring Evan Mock and Iris Law pitched up at highway diners and motels, on horseback or horsepower.
The TwoJeys x Zara collection will be launched in selected shops and on Zara.com on from 3rd June.
