Ann Demeulemeester has launched its SS25 Pre-collection, the first since Stefano Gallici took over as Creative Director. Expanding Gallici’s poetic vision for the house, which sees the designer curate a community of like-minded artistic talents, this new collection is designed in partnership with London musician October – leader of October and the Eyes.

From intimate conversations and a collaborative creative vision, the SS25 Pre-collection sees October and Gallici form an artistic dialogue from shared references from the worlds of style, music and aesthetic. “[The collection is] born from conversations about our favourite vintage band tees and ephemera, we embarked on a journey to make just that,” said October via an Instagram post. The resulting collection sees October’s lyrics embroidered across the brand’s signature monochrome shirts and delicate sheer tops, while the band’s eye graphic and portraits of October are translated across pieces. In classic Gallici style, ethereal layered dresses are paired with waistcoats alongside signature buckle boots and monochrome tailoring decorated with trinket pin embellishment. Throughout, a sense of individuality and artistic instinct guides the collection.

The SS25 Pre-collection sales campaign can be attended by appointment only at the historic Ann Demeulemeester showroom at 4 Rue de Saintonge, 75003 Paris until Friday, the 24th of May. The collection will be available in stores from November 2024.
