It’s hard to believe the day has actually arrived but we finally have a teaser trailer for Francis Ford Coppola’s long-anticipated new film Megalopolis. Described as a “Roman Epic fable set in an imagined Modern America,” the film has an insane cast that includes Adam Driver, Giancarlo Esposito, Nathalie Emmanuel, Aubrey Plaza, Jon Voight, Laurence Fishburne, and Dustin Hoffman. Set to premiere at Cannes in a few days, this will be Coppola’s first film as director since 2011’s Twixt. Taking over 40 years to make, Coppola has poured $120m of his own money into making the film, and by the look of the trailer, it’s going to be totally worth it.
