The Palm* Photo Prize, which is dedicated to supporting, elevating and showcasing the best of the new wave of image-makers, returns this year with a shortlist of 107 photographers from around the world. The Prize will launch with an exhibition at the Melkweg Expo, Amsterdam, on 24th May where works from each shortlisted photographer will be on display. The submissions will be judged by industry experts such as Alastair McKimm, former Editor-in-Chief of i-D, and Emma Bowkett, Curator and Director of Photography at the FT Weekend Magazine, as well as the founder of the prize itself, Lola Paprocka.

“The quality of this year’s Palm* Photo Prize has been outstanding,” Paprocka said of this year’s shortlist. “We’d like to thank everyone who submitted a photograph. We’ve received so many exceptional images, from artists across the globe. It’s been very difficult to whittle the shortlist down to 107 photographers!” Guen Fiore, a winner at Palm* Photo Prize 2021, told us, “What I always loved about Palm* is the community that it brings together. I’ve always been very proud of being part of that wonderful group of talented people every time I’ve been featured in the exhibition.”
