Crafted World

Inside Loewe’s new Shanghai exhibition
Fashion | 21 March 2024

Loewe’s first major exhibition, Crafted World, opens tomorrow in Shanghai’s Exhibition Centre.

Curated by creative director Jonathan Anderson, the exhibition celebrates the Spanish house’s craft heritage and modern reinvention. Journeying through the brand’s 178 year evolution, Crafted World highlights Loewe’s story: from its founding as a leather-making collective in Madrid in 1846 to one of the leading brands in the world, through being appointed as an official supplier to the Spanish Royal Crown, and the establishment of the Loewe Foundation Craft Prize.

Crafted World runs from 22nd March – 5th May 2024 before travelling worldwide.
