The much-anticipated Amy Winehouse biopic Back to Black finally has a release date AND an official image. Out on April 12th, 2024, the film will be directed by the artist and Nowhere Boy director Sam Taylor-Johnson and will star newcomer Marisa Abela (star of BBC drama Industry) as Amy herself, alongside Jack O’Connell, Eddie Marsan and Lesley Manville.

Back to Black will focus on Amy’s extraordinary genius and will chart the journey that took her from the jazz bars of 90’s Camden High Street to global adoration.

Back to Black will be released by StudioCanal in cinemas across the UK & Ireland on 12th April 2024.
