Picture Susie Cave and her family going on holiday and you don’t imagine them with rucksacks and bulging suitcases, do you? Of course not, you see them carrying the brand new Globe-Trotter x Vampire’s Wife luggage collection, naturally, exuding that dark romance inherent to Cave and her clan.

In a collaboration between Cave’s brand The Vampire’s Wife and the British luxury luggage manufacturer Globe-Trotter, the model and designer has designed an elegant selection of XL trunks, alongside cabin, carry-on, vanity & jewellery cases in both black and ivory. The black line is titled the Black Collection, designed with her musician husband’s touring luggage in mind, while the ivory is the Wedding Collection, both of which feature interiors in black sparkle velvet and blood red respectively, alongside carefully moulded leather trims, golden brass hardware and luggage tags featuring The Vampire’s Wife’s iconic bat motif.

Of the collaboration, Cave said, “I have owned and loved Globe-Trotter luggage for as long as I can remember […] It is for Nick [Cave] that I have created The Black Collection for this Globe-Trotter collaboration. As a musician, Nick is eternally on tour, and loves to carry handsome luggage. The Wedding Collection is inspired by a most beautiful vanity case, a wedding gift from my Father to my Mother that she carried on her honeymoon. As a young girl I was entranced by this beautiful piece of luggage – it is one of my earliest style memories.”
