Hot off the heels of the news that Future will be the first creative director of Lanvin Lab, the storied Parisian house has announced that Chinese actor Cheng Yi will be their first global brand ambassador. Spearheading a new generation of actors redefining contemporary Chinese culture on a global stage, the actor is best known for his roles in hugely popular TV shows Nobel Aspirations and Love and Redemption.

In a statement, Lanvin said they regard, “close liaisons and relationships with the highest esteem. They are the ties that bind the house together.” A longtime friend of the house, Cheng Yi’s appointment formalises the cherished relationship between the pair.
