Actors have been warned that dressing as characters from major shows and movies will break the rules of the ongoing actors’ strike. So don’t expect Margot Robbie to go as a deranged Barbie or Jenna Ortega to don her Wednesday Addams Halloween best. Sadly.

Sag-Aftra has advised its members to instead “choose costumes inspired by generalised characters and figures (ghost, zombie, spider etc).” zzzzzz, sorry, we fell asleep reading those suggestions. How about instead of ghost, zombie and spider, they could go as those creepy AI extras in Disney film Prom Pact, or maybe an underpaid writer forced to write scary tales for psychopaths in order to pay the rising LA rent? Just a few ideas off the top of our head.

On a more serious note, the actors’ strike approaches the 100-day mark without any sign of an agreement being made after the most recent talks broke down last week.
