Marking the brand’s 130th anniversary, this week saw dunhill celebrate in a way befitting the heritage British fashion house. First, dunhill hosted an opulent dinner and drinks party at London’s Royal Hospital Chelsea, which saw the likes of James McAvoy, Russell Tovey, Harry Lawtey and Mo Gilligan attend in their tailored finery. Serenaded by the Chineke! Orchestra, guests dined on a menu specially curated by British chef Johnnie Collins and sipped on Vesper Martinis. Classic elegance: very dunhill.

The anniversary also sees dunhill launch two special capsule collections that pay tribute to tradition as much as innovation: the 1893 Harness Collection, offering a range of bags and accessories in fine-grain calfskin in ode to the brand’s equestrian roots (Alfred Dunhill took over his father’s harness manufacturing business in 1893); and the ‘Alfred Dunhill’ Case of Delights, an exquisite briefcase curation of luxurious ‘everyday’ items, including a galvanised black iteration of the iconic Rollagas lighter, a sterling silver-plated flask, and handmade shot glasses in smoked grey mineral glass. 007 would kill for these pieces – literally.
