“For relaxing times, make it Suntory Time.” Fans of Sofia Coppola’s 2003 classic Lost in Translation will remember that scene with Bill Murray’s character advertising The House of Suntory’s Hibiki 17 whisky.

Now, in a cool full circle, Coppola has directed a special short film marking the 100th anniversary of the Japanese whisky-maker. What’s more, she’s reunited with former flame Keanu Reeves – 90s kids scream. Set to Joan Jett’s cover of Crimson and Clover, the ad begins with Keanu Reeves and Kunichi Nomura sharing a glass of whiskey with friends before archive clips taken from the brand’s history are collaged on-screen, including a 1992 ad Reeves starred in, the same year he starred in Bram Stoker’s Dracula, directed by Francis Ford Coppola – where he reportedly first met Sofia.

Later this summer, Reeves will also start in a series of documentary shorts titled The Nature and Spirit of Japan, directed by Sofia’s brother, Roman Coppola.
