Timothée Chalamet is the new face of Chanel De Bleu
Fashion | 15 May 2023

You’ll have no doubt seen paparazzi images of Timothée Chalamet and Martin Scorsese filming and hanging out on the NYC subway in-between takes. It now turns out the duo have been busy filming a new Chanel commercial for the Maison’s Bleu De Chanel men’s fragrance. And today, Chalamet announced the news via a series of brooding campaign portraits taken by Mario Sorrenti.

The newest ambassador for the French brand’s cologne, in an interview with Vogue Chalamet said of the scent, “I like that it feels a little pulled back, it’s subtle but still assertive… I’m not someone who wears scent all the time. For me, it’s about emphasising a moment.”

And this new role is only the start of a busy year for Chalament: the second instalment of the epic Dune trilogy is out in November, a month before Wonka hits cinemas, which sees Chalamet take on the titular chocolatier. Oh, and he’s also currently filming for James Mangold’s upcoming Bob Dylan biopic. Watch this space.
