Metaverse Fashion Week – what’s going down in the digital world?
Fashion | 30 March 2023

While the physical fashion week season may have come to a close, in the digital sphere, the Metaverse Fashion Week is in full swing.

Conceived by Decentraland, the largest user-owned-and-operated virtual world, this year’s second edition of the MVFW is guided by the theme of Future Heritage and welcomes some of fashion’s biggest luxury names, including BOSS, Balmain, Diesel, Coach, and Tommy Hilfiger. Over at the D-CAVE space, Glenn Martens is throwing an interactive fashion week party where everyone is invited, while Tommy Hilfiger are offering daily NFT drops alongside AI-generated products, and BOSS have opened an interactive, immersive showroom where you can dress your avatar in the brand’s latest pieces – plus keep your eyes peeled for collectable objects in the BOSS space to win a digital blue suit that can be worn on the multi-game avatar platform Ready Player Me.

Elsewhere, shop the Adidas Virtual Gear at the Three Stripes Studio, head to the EMPIRE space where Grammy-award winning musician Miguel is hosting a gamified fan quest, or pay homage to Vivienne Westwood via an installation game designed by art collective Vueltta. Ending tomorrow, plug into the Metaverse Fashion Week and explore new worlds.
