Iconic London restaurant St John has released a super limited-edition workwear collection in collaboration with clothing brand Service Works.

Known for their nose-to-tail culinary ethos and laid-back (yet incredibly tasty) approach to British classics, St Johns is a stalwart on the London food map – distinctive for its anatomical pig insignia and Times New Roman “St. JOHN” logo.

Now, you can wear your St John allegiance via a workwear-inspired canvas overshirt and trouser combo. Announced via an Instagram post on the restaurant’s page, the caption came with some sage advice for chefs from founder Fergus Henderson: “Don’t be chained to your oven. Make like a whale – keep your eyes and your mouth wide open for the plankton of ideas.”

St Johns’ apparel merch has become wardrobe collectables, and the restaurant even inspired a series of looks in Junya Watanabe’s SS20, appearing as reworked versions of St John’s staff uniform whites. Wear St John, eat St John, be happy.
