WOMEN WINTER 23
— CELINE (@celineofficial) November 22, 2022
Located at the Southeast corner of Wilshire Boulevard and Western Avenue, The Wiltern originally opened its doors in 1931. Designed in the art deco style of the era, the theatre is distinctive for its incredible auditorium ceiling, featuring a sunburst pattern of art deco skyscrapers. Since its opening, The Wiltern has famously hosted the likes of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, the Rolling Stones and Madonna.
Slimane announced the upcoming Celine womenswear show through a series of teasers posted on social media starring US model Lulu Tenney, who featured heavily in the designer’s recent SS23 collection film – set on the French Riviera and inspired by indie’s 00s heyday. This upcoming season show marks the first in-person Celine womenswear show since February 2020.
Celine at The Wiltern takes place on 8th December – stay tuned for our full coverage from the front row.
