As the provisional schedule for London Fashion Week FW23 drops, one name stands out: Raf Simons. On 16th September, the Belgian designer is set to make his LFW debut, presenting the latest collection from his newly launched womenswear line.

His first womenswear offering under his eponymous label for the SS21 season saw Simons present a gloriously dark and twisted mash-up of cult movies – from Barbarella to Blow-Up via Picnic at Hanging Rock and Scream – sending models down the runway in ‘Children of the Revolution’ tees, rebellious tailoring and possessed stares.

It’s been a dream for a while to show in London – a city where fashion and creativity is omnipresent in the streets, and where I see exceptional people with a strong unique style,” says Simons of his upcoming LFW show. “I’m extremely excited that this dream is becoming a reality now, and I’m very happy to welcome the amazing people and faces that make up the London scene to my show. Can’t wait to see you and dance the night away.”
