Fiorucci and Napapijri combine aesthetics with bold prints and technical design

A meeting of two Euro-style titans, Napapijri’s Fiorucci capsule takes bold prints and textured layering to new heights.

Blending the Norwegian’s label innovative outerwear know-how with Fiorucci’s timeless and creative approach to pattern and colour, the pair have come together in a fusion of decades-old brand codes.

Bringing the collection to life in an alternate reality consisting of dusky sunsets and dark mountain-scapes, inspiration for the technically-savvy collection “came from thinking about how the two brands meet,” says Fiorucci’s artistic director, Daniel Fletcher. “For me that was the idea of exploration. Napapijri is all about exploring in nature whilst Fiorucci is about exploring individuality and self-expression. The two coming together reflects this joint curiosity for the world we will in.”

And so Napapijri’s staple ¼ zip anorak finds itself dolled up in a slew Fiorucci-branded patches, with logo-covered crop tops and cycling shorts also taking on some of the brand’s bold retro graphics. The Legendary Fiorucci angel makes an appearance here too, on candy coloured tracksuits, jean pockets and pastel bucket hats, while Napapijri’s breezy summer shorts and denim waistbands bear the Norwegian flag in all of its refined glory.

Napapijri x Fiorucci is available now on both Fiorucci.com and Napapijri.com, as well as at Fiorucci’s Brewer Street flagship in London.
