Last night the world’s leading figures in fashion descended on London’s Royal Albert Hall for a night of sartorial celebration for this year’s British Fashion Awards.
Presented in collaboration with TikTok and hosted by POSE star Billy Porter, the first touching tribute of the night was from Idris Elba in ode to Virgil Abloh, the powerhouse designer and creative force behind Off-White and Louis Vuitton Men’s who passed away suddenly this past Sunday.

Superstar stylist Ibrahim Kamara ended up taking home the Isabella Blow Award for Fashion, joined by Alessandro Michele (Gucci) and Kim Jones (Dior Men’s & Fendi), who snagged the Trailblazer Award and that of Designer of the Year, respectively.
Guests were also treated to performances by Australian pop icon (and honourary Brit) Kylie Minogue, who stunned in a Richard Quinn catsuit, Brit award-winner Griff, and Charli XCX, whose chart-topping greatest hits run-down paid tribute to Outstanding Achievement Award winner Tommy Hilfiger.
28-year-old Albanian designer and recent LVMH prize winner Nensi Dojaka also added the BFC Foundation Award to her list of 2021 accolades, while Bethany Williams, Gabriela Hearst, Phoebe English, Priya Ahluwalia and Stella McCartney were all acknowledged for their active role as environmental leaders of change in the fashion community.
