As Kim Jones gears up for a blockbuster Fall22 offering, the house of Dior has announced their next physical menswear show will take place in London on Thursday 9th December.

“I can’t wait to do a show in my hometown,” says Jones of the event as he follows in the footsteps of Monsieur Dior, who held a particular affinity for London after drawing a crowd from the likes of the Queen Mother and Princess Margaret back in 1947. Known for his love of travelling, Jones has already taken the Parisian house to Shanghai and revealed his Fall20 menswear show in Miami’s arty Wynwood district.

“We are proud and excited to be bringing this unique event to life in London,” says Pietro Beccari, Chairman and CEO of Christian Dior Couture. “London is of course also the city closest to Kim Jones’ heart, where he was born and where he lives, which inspires him with its inexhaustible creativity and which he loves deeply.” 

Having celebrated the city’s rich creative history in countless collections past, including odes to Christopher Nemeth and Judy Blame, members of avant-garde collective The House of Beauty and Culture, we can only imagine what’s in store when his team step off the Eurostar. See you there, Kim.
