New Order’s next gig is at London’s O2 arena on 6th November, and it’s sell out. But for those who missed out on tickets, the Manchester icons are extending the invite via a livestream broadcasting across the world.

Having not been able to travel the world for eighteen months due to Covid-19, New Order wanted to reach out and connect with their global fanbase as best they could. “We were so looking forward to seeing everyone on tour by now,” share the band. “It has been frustrating not being able to play live in person, but this is the next best thing. It feels right to bring everyone together around the world through whatever means possible. This is a special show for us and we want to share it with you all.”

And it’s a special year for New Order, marking the 40th anniversary of their debut record, Movement. Released on Tony Wilson’s Factory Records and produced by Martin Hannett,, the album was the first recording since the suicide of Joy Division’s Ian Curtis and susequent forming of New Order by remaining band members Bernard Sumner, Oeter Hook and Stephen Morris. Listen to the album below.
