The SS22 Celine Homme show is titled Cosmic Cruiser – here are the details…

The details are in for Hedi Slimane‘s latest Celine Homme show! Taking place tomorrow (27th July) at 13:00 BST, the collection is titled Cosmic Cruiser and will be presented via a short film. In anticipation, a short teaser video appeared on Celine’s social channels showing a topless boy baton twirling (or it could be a wand?) interspersed with some stunning shots of sun-kissed coastal seas. Another clue comes from the show invite: a branded flick comb that was very futuristic rockabilly.

This show will follow Slimane’s FW21 presentation, which saw a “youth parade” march through the winding balconies of the Château de Chambord in a collection that wove a tapestry through 16th-century renaissance and the eyeliner angst of 20th-century goth subculture. Baroque pearl earrings dangled alongside baggy distressed jeans and regency ruffles peeked out of hoodies. Capes swept along the stone floor and chainmail embroidery shone like couture armour. Going by the SS22 name Cosmic Cruiser, we’re guessing at a more futuristic, interstellar vision this season.

The Celine Homme SS22 show will be streamed via the house’s channels at 13:00 BST tomorrow.
