Hole in one
You may not be aware, but the PGA Championship ended yesterday (that’s a major US golf tournament, FYI), concluding this year’s golf season. But with the introduction of a new golf collection by Mr P, Mr Porter‘s in-house menswear brand is encouraging us all to head to the fairway for a few extra rounds.
Available exclusively at Mr Porter, the line-up bridges casual staples with heritage-inspired golf clobber. Not a pair of plaid trousers or Caddyshack camo hat in sight, instead we have a blend of classic tailoring, Ivy League nostalgia and technical sportswear. Slim-fit chinos are reimagined in flexible stretch cotton, classic cardigans are cut in merino wool, perforated leather golf gloves are introduced and Mr P’s signature Derbies are reinterpreted into technical golf shoes.

Olie Arnold, style director at Mr Porter said of the collection: “Whether teeing off at noon or enjoying a post-round refreshment at the 19th hole, Mr P.’s golf collection celebrates the time-honoured pastime, while marrying a contemporary approach to golf style, on and off the course.”
As a nod to sport aiding mental health and wellbeing for many, between 24th May and 6th June, 100 percent of net profits sold from the collection will be donated to the Mr Porter Health In Mind Fund, an ongoing initiative dedicated to helping men lead happier, healthier and more fulfilling lives.
