With the prospect of another severely disrupted Men’s Fashion Week on the horizon, Louis Vuitton creative director Virgil Abloh has taken the initiative by announcing a three-week programme of events taking place across Paris from tomorrow.

Ensuring maximum social distancing and plenty of outdoor space, it’s not only shrewd in a logistical sense but builds on the designer’s emphasis on community since taking the helm. Dubbed Louis Vuitton: Walk in the Park, the programme consists of various public events that visitors can walk between (not that the fashion crowd are renowned walkers). Beginning near Vuitton’s headquarters on Rue du Pont Neuf, the rainbow-lit temporary space offers a rare chance to obtain reissues and new, limited-edition takes on collectable sneakers, jewellery and sunglasses – the grails from Abloh’s reign thus far.

A short walk across town to Vuitton’s Maison Vendôme, a new augmented reality experience developed for the Louis Vuitton app allows guests to interact with enormous animated mascots envisioned by Virgil Abloh for the Spring-Summer 2021 show. Providing a grand denouement to the weeks of activities is Vuitton’s FW21 Men’s collection, stay tuned for more info.

Louis Vuitton: Walk in the Park begins tomorrow until 31st January 2021
