2021 is already looking a whole lot rosier. After he was announced in September as Fendi‘s artistic director of women’s collections, Kim Jones will be showing his debut collection for the Italian brand in January 2021.

In an announcement made just today, Jones’ first outing in his new role will be for Fendi’s SS21 Couture Collection, taking place on Wednesday 27 January at Palais Brongniart during Paris Haute Couture Week. An accompanying promo poster reveals a tantalising snapshot of what’s to come.

Shot by Paolo Roversi and styled by Alister Mackie, the image stars Adwoa Aboah (sporting finger curls and opulent jewelry that feels very roaring twenties) alongside Thatcher Thornton. A welcome beacon of excitement to get us through the post-Christmas blues.
