Kate Moss Agency – the talent agency launched by the British supermodel – has launched a debut line of clothing: the first time Moss has ever independently released any merchandise.

Named Eyescapes, the collection features an incredible, close-up photograph of Moss’ unique iris taken by photographer Rankin as part of his 2013 Eyescapes series. The piece sold for £12,500 at an auction held at Christie’s from the collection of Gert Elfering in London in 2013. “Kate is quite aloof…” Rankin said of the image, “which makes her even more compelling for the camera. It’s exciting. She can just stare through the lens, and it’s enigmatic and charged.”

The image is printed across a range of ethically sourced and 100 percent organic pieces that include cotton hoodies, tees and totes – modelled here by Kate and her daughter Lila in a series of polaroids.

With an emphasis on sustainability and responsibility, the pieces are created with a factory in Tiruppur, India, close to source for the raw material used and products will be sent in recyclable packaging and swing tags in order to ensure sustainability.
