Saving Lives, Changing Lives

Balenciaga reveals its second collaboration with the World Food Programme
Fashion | 27 November 2019

After partnering with the World Food Programme (WFP) last year for a collection highlighting a spike in global hunger, Balenciaga is once again collaborating with the organisation for a new collection.

Launching in December 2019, a new line of clothing and accessories will provide funds to support the organisation where it is most needed, helping alleviate hunger and malnutrition in vulnerable communities worldwide. This year will see Balenciaga double the proceeds from each product designated as a World Food Programme donation to twenty percent.

The new line includes designs reinterpreting popular Balenciaga products, from socks. hats and scarves to raincoats, blouses and hoodies, all available in multiple colours. Unlike last year’s collection which featured a range of items carrying the WFP logo and its slogan, “Saving Lives, Changing Lives,” this year will see certain items feature a signature slanting pattern comprised of Balenciaga and WFP logos.

The collection will be sold worldwide via retail stores and e-commerce starting in December of 2019.
