Casely-Hayford’s first London store will make you feel right at home

What better way to celebrate the tenth anniversary of London menswear design duo  Casely-Hayford than with a first official flagship store. Originally founded by Joe Casely-Hayford OBE and his son, Charlie Casely-Hayford, the new physical location is a landmark moment for a brand that continues to go from strength to strength.

Located in the heart of west London in Marylebone’s Chiltern Street, the concept around the store centres on moving their famed bespoke tailoring away from the commotion of traditional retail spaces and into the convivial intimacy of a domestic apartment setting. Designed in collaboration with London’s renowned interior designer Studio Ashby, the two-floor space will not only house both ready-to-wear collections and an atelier, offering both men’s and women’s made-to-measure and their bespoke service, but also the brand’s first line of leather accessories for both men and women. Handmade in Spain, the new line includes footwear for men (as well as an assortment of bags and cardholders), while women’s clutches are complimented with a hand-crafted range of earrings.

“We have been developing the concept for our flagship store for a number of years.” says Charlie. “It seemed like a natural evolution from conversations we have with our clients about expanding our personal tailoring service to garments outside of traditional suiting.”

Not only are the brand delivering a more comfortable experience with an interior full of soft furnishings, warm colours and earthy tones, but they are transforming our consumption habits: from the launch there will be four ready-to-wear capsule collections in four see-now buy-now collections – Autumn, Winter, Spring, Summer. After one year, this will revert to every two months.
