Anthony Vaccarello is set to launch a new art project for Saint Laurent, where the designer taps specific artists to “capture different aspects of the Saint Laurent personality, underlining the complexity of various individuals.”

It all kicks off with an exhibition by renowned Japanese photographer Daido Moriyama. Taking place at Palais Royal from 9th – 11th November, the show features images of the Saint Laurent FW18 collection taken by Moriyama in Japan and will be presented in a special light-installation accessible to the public.

Previously a member of anti-establishment magazine PROVOKE, Moriyama first arrived in Tokyo in 1961, where he began working as a freelance photographer. During this time he carved out his unique approach; capturing post-war Japan through raw and confrontational, black and white imagery.
